    Hi Nas,
My new and very inspirational friend, I want to let you know how much your insightful and thoughtful postings, truly mean to me. Indeed, the true reflection of ourselves lies within our inner space where the inner child smiles and desires a peaceful and happy life.
What a wonderful world this would be where no man passes judgement on another.
In peace and respect, Gary :-)

  2. Kamila Says:

I don't really like judging people from the outside.. because it might be people better than me... I think people who do that are just people with their own insecurities on themselves..

  3. Furree Katt Says:

    agreeing with Kamila!

great post, i remember seeing a trailer for that programme, going to be interesting viewing. I'm glad they're taking a stand to challenge our perceptions. I'm fed up of everyone being judged by appearance.

  5. [[[ x Smiley x ]]] Says:

I agree with klahanie, the world would indeed be a different place if we stopped judging others. We live in such a image conscious society where looking glamorous and 'perfect'is pressurised, its just so sad.

  6. ANGELO Says:

Excellent post! I hope your post can reach out more readers out there. After reading the whole article, it has really taught me invaluable lessons in life such as:

    1. We should avoid generalizations, for everyone of us has our own stories and past.
    2. We should be grateful for who we are, for we are naturally gifted with talents and unique individuality.
    3. There would always be greater and lesser people than us. We're amazing just the way we are.
    4. Some people are bad because they are so mean or stupid.
    5. You can accomplish everything that you want in life, no matter what the odds are. Just believe in yourself even if others don't.

Let's not conform ourselves from the standards of this world. Let's be proud of who we are! ^_^

  7. Nas Says:

@ Klahanie: I am honoured by your presence, and totally agree with what you say. Who are we to judge anyway? Our eyes see only what we let them see / what they are capable of seeing. There's a lot we miss. Thank you for your lovely comment.
    :)

  8. Nas Says:

@ Kamila: You're right, dog food can be placed in a can of peaches but it wont change the fact it's dog food. Same with people.

  9. Nas Says:

@ Furree Katt: Agreeing with you agreeing with Kamila.

  10. Nas Says:

@ hijabi hippie hypo: Yeah, should be a good watch! && you're right, it is low =/.

  11. Nas Says:

@ Smiley: You're right, society has brainwashed many into thinking of 'standards' that really don't matter at all. And many people are trying to attain these so-called 'standards' but forgetting those that really matter. Sad, like you say.

  12. Nas Says:

@ Gelovsky: It is quite an inspirational story. And I may use your list In my next post.
    Thanks for the visit.

I knew a neighbor once with a certain condition who'd get offended when people went all sad and apologetic for what happened to him. So I'm not sure if my sympathy here would be welcomed by these two brothers 'cause personally I wouldn't want any one to feel sympathetic for me when I actually possess a perfectly capable brain to get through life.

But it's just plain weird how people treat such people.

  14. AcetylCholine Says:

Oh and I tried sharing that post by the Guardian on facebook. But I couldn't get through the link. =/
    I'm a cyber embarrassment.

  15. Nas Says:

@ AcetylCholine: You're right, most people don't want sympathy, they just want to be treated normal.
Ummm, if you click on the picture, it should open in a new window, and then you can try copying the link from there?

  16. AcetylCholine Says:

Nah, that only displays the title to the picture and your post.

Great post Nas! Sigh, if only our eyes had x-rays for the soul and just stopped wasting time judging...
