What do you say? What do you think about miracles? Miracles are something you dream about

I have a book at home titled, “What we believe but cannot prove”. It contains the responses of various scientists, journalists and other thinkers when they were asked the following question:

“What do you believe is true even though you cannot prove?”

What we believe but cannot prove (book)

I sat down and thought about it for a while. I believe there is life out there, beyond our world which is our niche in the universe, beyond the vast stretches of stars and other celestial bodies. Maybe not necessarily intelligent life as portrayed by Hollywood but something nonetheless.

What about you? What do you believe in, that you cannot prove?

Yeah.. Maybe. It really depends.. Hehe.

Well, for example...the extraterrestrials or ET. Though I can't prove it (I'm not sure is NASA had proven this... or NOT), I'm thinking that there may be some lifeforms out there, surviving... Who knows, right? Still it's not impossible..

Also.. I believe in God. Though I haven't seen Him, or touched Him, I know that he's there. Sometimes, I could just feel His presence. Just like the wind... you can't touch it.. you can just feel it.

BUt of course, on the lighter side... there are just some things that had to be proven in order for me to believe it. LIke in buying a dress or shoes. I have too prove tht it would look good on me before I decide to buy it. Id have to try it on first.. hehe..

Oh, anyway.. I have to go Nas. I'm not sure if I could go online after today. I having my ME TIME!!! ☺ ☺ ☺ But if I can, I'd sure to drop a comment or something. Take care, Nas... :)

I believe there is Life after death. All our loved ones are in this nice and cosy place sipping cocktails. I can't prove it but I know it's true. :)

I have to agree with all the people above and say I believe in GOD, aliens and Life after death...but I can't prove any of these beliefs :S
I also believe people can develop telepathy, telekinesia and that they can also teleport...but I can't prove it either!
Oh, and I believe in magic :D

    is it all about believing?

  7. klahanie Says:

    My friend,
I cannot really prove I exist. Yet I believe I must, through the intangible aura of love. And I think that love flows through all forms of dimensions, known and unknown. Man, that was deep, I have no idea what I'm talking about:-) Or, maybe I do.
Anyway, my new friend Nas, life is good and thus I hope you may come and honour me with a visit to my site. For a gift of profound wonder has been bestowed upon you.
In peace and kindness, Gary :-)

I believe that babies are much smarter than adults and can see things we cannot see. I believe their innocence and uncorrupted mind allows them to see the beauty of the world through an unprecedented mind. If they could talk, they'd teach adults how to live. But then we all grow up.... and our minds get messed up... and we forget the bliss of essence. Sure we get smarter and learn an grow and discover things... but we lose a bit of ourselves. It's like an old person not being able to relate to a teenager although that old person was once there too.

  9. Shari Says:

I believe everything Happens for a reasons and we can't just see that reason or comprehend the happenings but feel that in our hearts :)

  10. Nas Says:

@ Leah: NASA took some pictures once, which sort of showed bacteria. But I don't think they were conclusive enough. As for God, I did a post about my experience once, and you can read it here
